Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that the President has
nominated Lieutenant General Edwin E. Tenoso, United States Air Force, for
reappointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as Commander,
Twenty-First Air Force, Air Mobility Command, McGuire Air Force Base, New
Jersey. General Tenoso is currently assigned as the Vice Commander, Air
Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
General Tenoso was born August 22, 1940, in Escondido, California.
