Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern E. Clark announced today the following assignments:
Navy Rear Adm. (Lower Half) John M. Kelly is being assigned as commander, Cruiser Destroyer Group Three. Kelly is currently serving as deputy director, Surface Warfare Division, N76B, OPNAV, Washington, D.C.
Navy Rear Adm. (Lower Half) Thomas J. Wilson III is being assigned as deputy director, Surface Warfare Division, N76B, OPNAV, Washington, D.C. Wilson was previously assigned as commander, Standing Naval Force, Atlantic, and is currently serving on temporary duty with the chief of Naval Operations, OPNAV, Washington, D.C.
