CANTON, OH, November 2008-May 2009, In its third national showing, The Heart Truth's First Ladies Red Dress Collection is featured at the National First Ladies' Library as the centerpiece of the Library's "Caring Hearts: The Health of a Nation" exhibit.

In the Spring of 2008, The Heart Truth Road Show had its largest tour to date, stopping at 10 cities across the US, bringing free screenings, the Red Dress display, and educational materials to women who remain under-informed about heart disease. The cities included: Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Birmingham, Charleston, Houston, Dallas, and West Palm Beach.

SIMI VALLEY, CA, February 16, 2007—As continued supporters of The Heart Truth, Mrs. Laura Bush—the Founding Ambassador for The Heart Truth campaign—Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Mrs. Barbara Bush, Mrs. Nancy Reagan, Mrs. Rosalynn Carter, Mrs. Betty Ford, and Mrs. Claudia (Lady Bird) Johnson have each contributed red dresses and suits from their personal collections for a limited viewing at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

NEW YORK, NY, February 1, 2008-The finale of the Red Dress Collection Fashion Show 2008 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week with Heart Truth ambassador Mrs. Laura Bush.  The show featured 15 "Celebrated Women" wearing designer Red Dresses, including (from left to right) Molly Sims for Daniel Swarovski, Heidi Klum for Marc Jacobs, Lisa Rinna for Michael Kors, Cheryl Hines for Catherine Malandrino, Allison Janney for Donna Karan, Ana Ortiz for Badgley Mischka, Liza Minnelli for Halston Original, Former First Lady Laura Bush, Camryn Manheim for Ali Rahimi, Rita Moreno for Lily Samii, Ashanti for Tracy Reese, Maria Menounos for Marchesa, and Sara Ramirez for Angel Sanchez.

NEW YORK, NY, February 2, 2007-Backstage at The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection Fashion Show 2007 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.  The show featured 23 "Celebrated Women" wearing designer Red Dresses, including (from left to right) Angela Bassett for Carmen Marc Valvo, Helena Christensen for Calvin Klein, Alek Wek for Ellen Tracy, Kimberly Guilfoyle Villency for Nicole Miller, Kim Cattrall for Carolina Herrera, Sheila Johnson for Bob Mackie, Katharine McPhee for Daniel Swarovski, Danica Patrick for Jovovich-Hawk, and Mae Jemison for Lyn Devon.

April-October, 2006The Heart Truth Road Show, a traveling exhibit about women's heart health, visited shopping malls in four cities.  The Road Show delivered an urgent heart health wake up call to women in cities with populations at high risk for heart disease.

The Heart Truth includes a collection of 19 red dresses contributed by America's most prestigious fashion designers, showcased throughout Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (February 7-14, 2003). The Red Dress is the centerpiece of The Heart Truth campaign, a national awareness campaign about women and heart disease, sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
