AUSTIN, Texas -- In addition to providing assistance to eligible applicants for housing and other disaster-related needs after Hurricane Ike, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is also funding Crisis Counseling services in 34 counties designated for individual assistance under the federal disaster declaration. FEMA approved a grant of nearly $2 million to fund the services, which are administered by the State of Texas.
