Saco, ME -- The City of Saco will host the Second Annual Project Impact Partners Recognition Dinner on April 10, 2001 at 6 p.m. at Saco Middle School on Buxton Road. The dinner is being held to recognize the many contributions and achievements of the more than 100 Project Impact Partners who have helped to make Project Impact such a success in Saco.
The City of Saco has been partnering with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to become a disaster-resistant community in the national effort known as "Project Impact." Saco is one of only a handful of communities in the entire state of Maine to promote safety through Project Impact and officials hope others will join the effort.
Each partnership is permitted a maximum of two attendees. Those interested in attending should contact Larry Nadeau or Amy Oliver of the Saco Public Works Department on or before February 26 at 284-6641.
