The NHMFL and its reviewers agree to treat requests as
confidential documents and to respect the intellectual property

apply to proprietary research consistent with NSF/DOE guidelines.
DOE approval for foreign visitors will take at least two months.
Foreign participants of approved requests who need to be at Los
Alamos will be sent appropriate DOE approval forms.
All users are subject to local administrative and safety rules of
the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Reports of all experimental work performed will be submitted to
NHMFL within three months of the experiment either as a preprint,
reprint, or a dedicated one-page extended abstract. Reports may be
published in the NHMFL annual summary. Reprints of published papers
will be sent to NHMFL.
(Note: The Principal User Contact is required to acknowledge the
above agreements by signature prior to the experiment. This may be
done on arrival at Los Alamos or by mail if the Principal Contact
will not attend the experiment.)
