Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Pete Aldridge will present the 2002 David Packard Excellence in Acquisition Awards to six Department of Defense teams at a Pentagon ceremony Tuesday, June 18, at 2:30 p.m. EDT in the Pentagon auditorium, Room 5A1070. The Packard Award is given to DoD civilian and/or military organizations, groups and teams who have made highly significant contributions or demonstrated exemplary innovations and best practices in the Defense acquisition process.
