‘Violence does not offer the answer’...
Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis (center) is seen yesterday at a meeting in Paris of her European Union counterparts that was called to discuss the Israeli attacks on Gaza. Crime detection dallying
A number of criminal investigations have piled up which the Greek police force has found itself unable to solve.
Some of these, such as the murder of a police special guard in 2005 and a several attacks with explosive devices, are too serious to be simply filed away and forgotten.
Other - more recent - examples include the injury by gunfire of a student in the Athenian suburb of Peristeri and an attack against a bus carrying a squad of riot police, also by gunfire. Both of these very serious cases remain unsolved. |
