ON THIS PAGE: Background and How to ApplyFederal awards to institutions seeking to construct, renovate or repair biomedical or behavioral research facilities are part of the overall NIH Recovery Act investment strategy, as described at www.nih.gov/recovery. Under the Recovery Act, NCRR will administer $1 billion for construction, repair and renovation of research facilities through the following two programs. C06 Extramural Research Facilities Improvement Program. This funding opportunity supports construction, renovation or repair of extramural biomedical or behavioral research facilities. Application deadlines are May 6, June 17 and July 17, 2009, depending upon the funding amount requested. Amounts can range from $2 million to $15 million. HOW TO APPLY G20 Core Facility Renovation, Repair and Improvement. This funding opportunity supports upgrades to extramural core facilities that support to NIH-funded biomedical and behavioral researchers. The deadline for applications is Sept. 17, 2009. Budgets between $1 million and $10 million may be requested.
