Work Plan
The MBWG Work Plan will be used to guide the working group’s activities through Fiscal Year 2006 and into the future. The Work Plan is broken down into work items, each of which is further divided into specific tasks. The agencies and members that serve on the working group are responsible for implementing these work items and reporting back to the working group on their progress. Currently, the focus is on outreach and education, and the development and implementation of a Multipurpose Marine Cadastre. Please see the Work Plan below for specific tasks. The Work Plan will be revisited every year and updated as needed.
Through a consensus based approach, the following work plan items have been identified.
- Marine Boundary Working Group outreach strategy.
- Marine boundary training and education.
- Marine boundary data base and Web portal.
- Managerial support and resources for developing and maintaining marine boundaries.
- Agency specific boundary review protocols
