The GIS Integration and Development Program

Overview

The nation's coasts face many issues, from concerns about growth and development, to the need for protection and management of resources, to the desire to create hazard-resilient communities. The GIS Integration and Development Program works to address these resource management issues from a spatial perspective and provides data, technology, technical assistance, and partnership facilitation that might otherwise be unavailable.

The program's strong suit is the ability to combine technical expertise with content knowledge to support spatial approaches to coastal decision making.
