One of several collaborations between Avery and White in the early 1910s when Avery worked at the Hoagland Laboratory in Brooklyn, New York. This article reported their findings on the bacteriology of yogurt, which was then becoming quite popular.
NOTE: Some accompanying diagrams were faint and difficult to read on the original.
