Macintosh - Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
CIT has documented inconsistent results with creating CDs downloaded via HTTP to machines running OS X 10.3 (or earlier OS versions). The download completes successfully, but when the CD is created from the disk image, a CRC error prevents the CD from being useable.
In order to successfully create the CD set, the image files must be downloaded and burned using a machine running OS X 10.4.
The first image can ONLY be burned with Apple's Disk Utility application (as opposed to Toast or other 3rd-party applications) or else it may not boot.
CIT will create a CD set for iSDP contacts and technicians upon request.
CIT has requested that Apple investigate and resolve this error.
