Recognizing Pollution Prevention award winners

Deputy Laboratory Director Ike Richardson shakes hands with Michael Cournoyer, right, of Technical Area 55 Operations at the Lab's 2009 Pollution Prevention awards ceremony on Wednesday. Cournoyer was part of a team that received an award for its project "Dexterity Test Data Contribute to Reduction in Leaded Glovebox."

Cournoyer's colleagues on the project are Cindy Lawton of Industrial Hygiene and Safety, Amanda Castro of Applied Engineering and Technology, Stephen Costigan of Health Physics Operations, and Stephen Schreiber of Plutonium Manufacturing and Technology.

Also pictured center is Denny Hjeresen of the Risk Reduction Office, which coordinates the P2 awards program.
