Significant events identified by Satellite Analysis Branch meteorologists and reviewed by the Operational Significant Event Imagery support team Friday May 01, 2009 are as follows:


IMAGE D6140: GOES-12 <> Image Type=combine <> 5/01/2009 17:15 UTC.
This GOES-12 satellite image shows a thunderstorm complex that has dropped more than 5 inches of rain in areas Northeast of Tulsa, OK since this morning.
