Nellis to stand up new aircraft maintenance squadron
NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Air Force Reserve Command will activate a new aircraft maintenance squadron here in a ceremony May 15.
The 926th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, part of the 926th Group, is a classic associate unit that supports the U. S. Air Force Warfare Center at Nellis. Under this Total Force Integration initiative, the Air Force Reserve squadron provides skilled manpower and continuity to the Regular Air Force's 57th AMXS.

Reservists return from Djibouti
An Airman from the 920th Rescue Wing waves the American flag through the porthole of an HC-130P/N Hercules aircraft May 5, 2009, as it and another aircraft taxi onto the Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., flightline. Thirty Airmen returned safely to Patrick from the Horn of Africa, where they provided combat search and rescue support to the region, which included the countries of Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia.

March joint-service team grants wish
MARCH AIR RESERVE BASE, Calif. -- Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen worked together here in April to grant a wish to a 6-year-old Riverside boy diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Andrew, enrolled in the Inland Empire chapter of the Make A Wish Foundation, wanted to become a member of the military for a day.
Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps units came together to give him as broad an experience as possible.

Aviation trade show features F-22A, other aircraft
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- An F-22A Raptor from here was among the more than 60 aircraft on display at the 12th Annual Alaska State Aviation Trade Show & Conference at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska, May 2-3.
The Raptor, along with a C-17, C-130H, HC-130 and an HH-60 Pave Hawk from Alaska Air National Guard's 176th Wing and a T-38C from Randolph AFB, Texas, represented the Air Force's diverse fleet of aircraft.
