The Heart Truth Road Show Reaches Thousands of Women!
The Heart Truth is that heart disease is the #1 killer of American women. This landmark heart health awareness movement is being spread by those who share the common goal of greater awareness and better heart health for all women.
This past spring, The Heart Truth Road Show traveled to six U.S. cities to raise awareness about women and heart disease by providing more than 4,700 free heart disease risk factor screenings and disseminating educational materials. Participants also had the opportunity to speak to cardiologists and registered dietitians about their screening results.
