Joint wargames test today's, tomorrow's security challenges
Representatives from the United States military, government, and foreign militaries have gathered to test the Department of Defense's (DOD) recently-revised Capstone Concept for Joint Operations (CCJO) in war games which look ahead to 2020 and feature scenarios that pit U.S. joint forces against three types of threats: a globally networked terrorist threat, a peer competitor, and a failed or failing state.
