The NHLBI and ARRA Transparency

The NHLBI is working closely with the NIH and HHS to ensure that scientific merit and quality as well as the highest standards of transparency and accountability, are the guiding principles behind the Institute’s implementation of the ARRA.  The NHLBI, in coordination with the NIH and the HHS Recovery Act Implementation team, will post information about the critical steps on the Spending Plan process, track the projects, and report their impact on the economy at www.hhs.gov/recovery.
