The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Teacher at Sea Program (TAS) and NOAA's Office of Global Programs (OGP) are proud to announce our Ocean Observatory Teachers at Sea, Debra Brice and Viviana Zamorano.
Ms. Debra Brice is a middle school science teacher at San Marcos Middle School in San Diego and Ms. Viviana Zamorano is a middle school science teacher at Escuela America in Arica, Chile. Debra and Viviana embarked on the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO) Research Vessel Roger Revelle from Ecuador on November 10, 2003 and traveled for three weeks to Arica, Chile.
While onboard, Debra and Viviana hosted Web broadcasts, maintained daily logs, took photographs, interviewed scientists, and answered your e-mail messages.
