The Coast Guard Academy Library is the principal on-campus facility for academic research and study. Located in Waesche Hall at the northwest end of the campus, the Library houses the Academy's collection of 130,000 volumes and 600 periodical subscriptions. Reference service and interlibrary loans are available to cadets and faculty.

In addition to Library resources housed on campus, cadets can explore academic research and study resources online through full-text access to more than 12,000 journals and 50 databases. Online resources, including the complete online catalog to the Library's collection, are available exclusively to on-campus users through the academy's Intranet/portal.
