According to the article, Use of Cessation Methods Among Smokers Aged 16–24 Years—United States, 2003," data from the National Youth Smoking Cessation Survey indicate that persons aged 16–24 are not using Public Health Service-recommended methods to quit. Adolescents and young adults looking to quit smoking should call 1-800-QUIT-NOW or seek assistance from a health care professional to determine the most appropriate form of treatment for them.
