Question: How do I find a list of current MEDLINE® journals by Country of Publication or Language in LocatorPlus?
Answer:
LocatorPlus, our library catalog, lets you limit your search by Place of Publication and Language.
To set the limits and then enter a search for currently indexed MEDLINE journals:
- Click on the "Search LocatorPlus®" button.
- Click on the "Set Limits Before Searching" button (bottom right of the screen).
- Select your Place of Publication or Language limits. If you want more than one limit from the same category, hold down the CTRL key while clicking on the limits.
- Click on the "Set Limits" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on the "Advanced Menu Search" tab.
- In the "Search" box, type medline.
- In the drop-down box to the right, select "any of these."
- Select "Abstract/Index Tags" as the type of search from the "As" drop-down box.
- Make sure to select the "AND" radio button.
- In the next "Search" box, type 1 5
(1 space 5).
- In the drop-down box to the right, select "any of these."
- Select "Indexing Status" as the type of search from the "As" drop-down box.
- Click on the gray "Search" button (bottom of the page).
