Citations displayed in AbstractPlus format provide the following additional information:

• The PubMedCentral identifier (PMCID). [Show Me]
  
  
• The first five Related Articles [Show Me] and links to reviews [Show Me] and all Related Articles [Show Me].
  
  
• Links to Patient Drug Information (when available). [Show Me]

AbstractPlus is the default format when a single citation is retrieved. See My NCBI Preferences to change your default format.

The AbstractPlus format is one place where site designers try out links to various NCBI and NLM resources. These links will generally be available on the right-hand column. Feedback on what links are most useful to you is welcome.
