Biography:

Gabrielle Hrycyshyn graduated with a B.S. in Biology, Distinguished with Honors, in 2004 from Penn State University and a M.S. in Interdisciplinary Ecology concentrated in Statistics in 2007 from the University of Florida. For both her undergraduate and Master's theses she worked on population dynamics of freshwater turtles in a Florida spring using capture-mark-recapture techniques and modeling.  

She began at NSF as a Science Assistant in the Division of Graduate Education, working with IGERT, in March 2008.
