Mohammad M Elahi

Mohammad M Elahi is currently the Chairman& CEO of Andes Capital Group, a full service broker dealer and underwriter for municipal and corporate clients. He founded the firm with three other individuals from the industry in 2004. Additionally, Andes also provide Financial Advisory services for various private equity, infrastructure and developmental projects.

Prior to Andes, he was the Senior Vice President of Loop Capital Markets, a regional broker dealer and underwriter.

In this exclusive interview with VOA Bangla Service, he talks about the activities of his new firm Andes Capital Group.He talks about the nature of investment through his firm and the impact of the ongoing recession in the economy. He said the impact was very serious last year when the recession was up coming .
