Warriors Foundation - Hot Air Ballooning (February 16, 2008)
20 of our Warriors went and had a great day...it was quite a ride with a great view of many of the large estates in the area and a sun set that I think few will forget. Thanks to all the Volunteers that made this a "Special Day" for Our Warriors.

Golfers 4 Freedom Fundraiser
On May 21st the Golfers 4 Freedom held a fundraiser for the Warrior Foundation. Our Warriors really enjoyed the day outside. The Golf was great and the company was just what our Warriors needed. Special thanks to Mr. Keith Barnett and all the patriotic golfers who participated. It was a great success. Mr. Barnett's efforts helped us directly purchase the donation of TWO CRANK BIKES which were presented to Balboa Hospital and the Therapy Center on June 1st.

On June 1st the Crank Bikes were presented and used the very next day for the Rock and Roll Marathon...

26.2 miles and our Warriors finished in true Marine fashion. They hope to participate in many of our future San Diego runs.

Boy Scout Troop and Pack 151 Visit the Warriors
Boy Scout Troop and Pack 151 presented the American Flag and the Marine Flag to our Warriors. They also presented an American Flag and US Navy Flag to the Navy's side of the Med-Hold. The Boy Scouts collected cans to purchase these much asked for items. Our Warriors shook the hands of the Boy Scouts and talked with them for quite some time, something I am sure neither will forget for a long time.

"Over The Hill Gangs" Car Show
These shots are from the "Over the Hill Gangs" Car Show. They treated the warriors to the show and presented them with a paint job on their golf cart that was donated by the Warrior Foundation. Check out the Eagle. Everyone at Balboa Hospital knows when the Marines have landed. Everyone was able to attend and a great time was had by all.
