DescriptionThe goals of the meeting are to build on the NIAID-USAID MERC and stimulate new or expanded scientific exchange, research training, and collaborative research projects. NIH, Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF), NAMRU-3 and WHO staff will provide individual mentoring to participants on suitable funding mechanisms. Participants in this conference will be eligible to apply for a CRDF grant that will provide up to $10,000 competitively as “seed” money for scientific exchange and “seed” money for collaborative projects and NIH funding mechanisms.
