DescriptionWe plan to assemble approximately 225 scientists including a substantial number of students and postdoctoral fellows. The presentations and discussions will center on the key questions of transposon biology. Goals of this conference are to accelerate research in the field through the exchange of unpublished results and to expand the knowledge base of students and postdoctoral fellows so that they will be better prepared to contribute to research in the field. In addition, we wish to continue the broad scope of this conference so it can continue to function as the dominant meeting in the field.
