Advances and Opportunities in Scrub Typhus Research

DescriptionThe purpose of the symposium is to foster interest in scrub typhus among investigators and to stimulate potential collaborations between laboratories and scientists working in endemic areas to help address the need for new diagnostics, vaccines, and therapeutics for an important yet underserved disease. Collaborations will also be encouraged on the natural history of <em>O. tsutsugamushi </em>transmission.
