PRMC/TAMC Balanced Scorecard: What is it?

The Army Medical Command, Pacific Regional Medical Command and Tripler Army Medical Center use a management tool called “the Balanced Scorecard and Strategy Map” as a framework to translate our mission and vision into action. The Balanced Scorecard communicates the Army Chief of Staff’s imperatives, the Surgeon General’s strategic vision and goals, and the Army Medical Department’s strategy to our staff. We use the tool to focus our efforts towards accomplishing our mission, monitor our progress in reaching our goals, and continuously improve our performance.

Orthopedic Clinic Patient on 09 APR 2009:
"The front desk staff were exceptionally efficient at handling multiple patient check-ins and seemingly keeping pace with appointment schedule requirements and paperwork. Thank you. Navy Commander Rowles who saw me today was outstanding in his approach and attitude. He is no doubt a high caliber professional who swiftly takes care of business (medical treatment and diagnosis), clearly communicates with the patient.
