The First Workshop on Epigenetic Basis of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), May 28, 2009 - May 29, 2009
Location: 6100 Executive Blvd., 5th floor conference room, Rockville, MD
Description: The purpose of this workshop is to begin to lay the foundation for initiatives that would advance epigenetic/systems biology research relevant to IDD. Specifically, Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (MRDD) Branch, NICHD, may issue a Program Announcement focused on IDD as one of the products of this workshop. The goal of this workshop is to bring together leading scientists in the fields of epigenetics and systems science and appropriate representatives from advocacy groups to identify research needs and advise the Institute in setting the priorities for next 2 to 5 years.
