We provide leadership and promote innovation in public health informatics, health statistics, and health marketing.

Our Approach

• Developing strategic customer-centered, evidence-based products for creating and communicating health information that promotes healthy behaviors and improves health outcomes.

• Collecting, maintaining, and disseminating health information from integrated health information and surveillance systems.  

• Conducting and supporting research and data collection in the federal vital and health statistics system to guide public health actions and policy decisions.

• Developing and fostering collaborations with state, local, territorial and tribal partners to increase CDC’s effectiveness and achieve public health goals.
