CHREC Midyear Workshop 2009

A meeting for members of the Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC)

Directors present an overall report of the Center's activities. Faculty present research proposals to members. They also give progress presentations for the research funded through the center. Students present posters describing the research. New proposals are voted on by the members. Visitors interested in membership are welcome if they are willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

All of the arrangements are ready for the upcoming members-only midyear workshop, the CHREC Midyear Workshop 2009 (CMW09), on June 2-3 in Roanoke, VA.  The registration, hotel, and travel information is now posted on the CHREC Midyear Workshop 2009 Web Page for your convenience. 

Please be advised that you will need to book your hotel room by April 30^th to receive the special discounted block rate.  The government rate is good for state university employees as well as federal employees.  Dr. Athanas would like to emphasize that you do not need a rental car if you arrive via the Roanoke airport as there is a free shuttle to the Hotel Roanoke.

We ask that everyone planning to attend the workshop to please register ASAP (via the registration link at the top of the CHREC Midyear Workshop 2009 Web Page), please no later than May 15th.  There is no registration fee and the form is very short.
