Opportunities Have Been Reopened – Apply Today!

The internship opportunities in DeKalb, County, GA; Louisiana; Nevada; and Ohio have been reopened.

Master’s and doctoral degree candidates in U.S. schools of public health in MCH programs or in related programs that involve MCH studies, who are U.S. citizens or non-citizen permanent residents in the U.S. may apply. Also, student applicants should not graduate before the completion of their internship.

To apply, students must submit online application form that requires:

  • 500-word essay discussing interest in the internship project
  • 2 letters of recommendation (one from the graduate advisor)
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae
  • Internship project choice:The list of internships will take interested students to details of each of 28 internship opportunities. They are organized by project areas and then by state. Read the descriptions carefully.

The GSIP Committee intends to match interns with the most appropriate internship opportunities regardless of student or state location. Committee members will make every effort to honor the applicant’s ranked choices.

The following internship opportunities are offered to qualified students without regard to age, sex, race, sexual orientation, creed, national origin, marital status, veteran status, or handicap.
