MyCopy books available

The Research Library is one of only a few institutions in the US to participate in the Springer MyCopy Pilot Project.

What is MyCopy?
MyCopy is a print-on-demand (POD) book that customers at institutions with access to Springer ebooks can order directly from Springer. Springer will sell the MyCopy book exclusively to individual customers (library customers) for $24.95 including shipping and handling.

Which Springer titles are available in MyCopy print format to LANL customers?
Springer titles that are accessible as an ebook on the SpringerLink web platform, and subscribed to by the Research Library, will be available in MyCopy print format. POD-suitable ebooks (monographs, textbooks, reference works and handbooks) starting with copyright year 2005 and with a page number less than 832 will be included.

Because the LANL Research Library subscribes to ebooks from Springer, titles from the following subject collections and years will be available in MyCopy print format to individual LANL customers:

* Chemistry and Materials Sciences, 2005-2007
* Earth and Environmental Science, 2005-2007
* Engineering, 2005-2007
* Mathematics and Statistics, 2005-2007
* Physics and Astronomy, 2005-2007
Coming soon: Computer Science, 2005-2009 (including LNCS)
