The Division of Human Resource Development (HRD) within the Directorate for Education and Human Resources announces its 2009 Joint Annual Meeting (JAM), to be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC from June 8th to 11th, 2009.  HRD is pleased to welcome the NSF's Directorate for Biological Sciences (BIO) as a co-sponsor for JAM09.  Each year, HRD grantees gather in Washington, DC to discuss, present, network, leverage expertise, and create connections to the many other research and education projects funded within the division.  JAM09 will provide additional opportunities for partnerships and networking with BIO staff and grantees.

Registration and additional information is now posted at the JAM09 Conference Website (and linked from this site).  Please mark your calendars now and contact your HRD Program Officer if you have any program-specific questions about JAM09.

Poster Submission Deadline: Friday, May 8, 2009

General Meeting Agenda:

This year's meeting begins with select pre-conference events on the afternoon of Monday (June 8th), including an optional pre-conference workshop for new HRD Principal Investigators, as well as various program-specific concurrent sessions.  Core conference events for all attendees begin on Tuesday morning June 9th and run through Wednesday June 10th. A half-day session follows on Thursday, June 11th with presentations for all attendees from the NSF Division of Grants & Agreements.  In addition to these sessions, BIO, our JAM09 partner, will be organizing several events including professional development and collaboration and networking sessions between BIO and HRD grantees.
