Site wide access to the Cambridge
Structural Database (CSD) has been arranged by the Research Library.
CSD contains bibliographic, chemical and crystallographic information for
organic molecules and metal-organic compounds.
Components of this system include:
- ConQuest - search and information retrieval
- Mercury - structure visualization
- Vista - numerical analysis
- PreQuest - database creation
- IsoStar - intermolecular interactions
- Mogul - molecular geometry
- Database
The CSD components must reside on an user's computer. Current versions include:
- Windows (IBM compatible, Windows 98/Me/NT4/2000/XP)
- Unix (Silicon Graphics, Sun SPARC and Intel compatible, etc)
Access to the components requires a cryptocard.
