Special Unemployment Insurance Advisory Council Meeting, May 8, 2009 … Poster
April 15, 2009
Over 24,000 retroactive Federal Additional Compensation (FAC) checks were mailed this week. These checks were mailed to eligible unemployment compensation claimants who were paid Unemployment Insurance benefits for weeks ending 2-28-09, 3-7-09, and 3-14-09 but did not receive the FAC payment in these checks. These retroactive FAC checks ranged from $22 - $75. The FAC payments were made possible under the Federal Stimulus Package. Those claimants who received benefit checks for those same weeks on or after March 18, 2009, had the FAC of $25 included in that check. If you have any further questions please call the customer service line at 1-800-266-2252.
