Waterborne Outbreak Data contains information regarding the Waterborne Disease and Outbreak Surveillance System (WBDOSS), a national surveillance system for waterborne disease and outbreaks, including links to surveillance summaries dating back to 1971. Also included is information on the National Outbreak Reporting System (NORS) that will be activating in 2009.

This section provides information on the measurement of contaminant levels in clinical samples which is related to the level of a person’s exposure to toxic substances. Some data sources may list many different contaminants for which exposure may not just be water related.
