Breaking News

CDD Study Indicates That Paralysis is More Prevalent Than Previously Believed

Results of a CDD survey, authored by the Division of Disability and Health Policy, indicate that nearly 1.3 million Americans currently are living with paralysis due to spinal cord injuries. The study, funded by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, also indicates that overall paralysis rates in the US may have been underestimated by as much as 40%.
