Dillon House Victorian Tea
Event Description:
One of Fremont's finest examples of Victorian-era architecture is the setting for a formal tea. The elegance of the 19th-century is re-created for guests at the historic Dillon House, built in 1873. Costumed wait staff, piano music courtesy a rare square Steinway, and featured performer are highlights of this leisurely afternoon. JoMarie Soszynski presents a program titled "19th-Century Mourning Attire." Guests have their linen-covered tables reserved for two hours and are invited to tour the Dillon House or amble through the Spiegel Grove estate of 19th U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes. Advance reservations are required. Seating is limited. Cost is $20 per person
