Comparative Mouse Genomics Centers Consortium

The Comparative Mouse Genomics Centers Consortium is credited with the construction of over 30 mouse models available to the scientific community through the National Center for Research Resources (NRCC) Mutant Mouse Regional Repositories (http://www.mmrrc.org/) Exit NIEHS Website, the National Cancer Institute Mouse Models of Human Cancers Carcinogens (http://mouse.ncifcrf.gov/) Exit NIEHS Website, or through the investigator. More information regarding available mouse models and mouse models under creation or evaluation may be found in the Mouse Model Repository section of the Federated Database (http://tools.niehs.nih.gov/genotype/), another major accomplishment of the CMGCC. The Federated Database includes the tools generated by the Consortium to evaluate the functional consequences of gene polymorphisms.
