12 . How do I upload or download a file to the Titan system?

The easiest method is to use WS FTP PRO. This software for Windows PC's can be downloaded from:

http://silk.nih.gov/SECURSLK/tcptools/tcptools.html

Once the software is downloaded, a WS_FTP icon will be installed on your
desktop. When launching the software from your desktop you will be prompted for your Titan user id and password. Enter your credentials and click connect. You will be presented with two display windows, one showing your LOCAL (PC) files and one showing your REMOTE (TITAN) files. You can easily transfer files between the two systems by highlighting the file you wish to upload or download and clicking the arrow directed toward the local or remote system you wish to transfer the file to.

WS FTP Pro is not available for the Mac OS. However, there are shareware FTP programs for Mac OS X that will allow you to transfer files between the Titan system and your Mac (for example, Fetch and Anarchie).

If you have any issues with the software or using the software, click here to report the problem.
