This HCP was signed in June 1995 with a 100 year term. The multi-species agreement covers 49,000 acres of timber lands in southwestern Washington State. Watershed prescriptions to protect unstable slopes and correct roads that deliver sediments to streams are being implemented according to outcomes of specific analyses.
NOAA Fisheries Service didn't issue an incidental take permit nor do a biological opinion because listed fish were not present in the covered area when the plan was signed. (West Fork was Murray Pacific Corporation when the HCP became effective.)
