NIMS Integration Center Announces Revised IS-800 Course on Website (IS-800a)

The NIMS Integration Center (NIC) in conjunction with the Emergency Management Institute (EMI) has updated the IS-800 National Response Plan (NRP): An Introduction, web based training course to reflect the recent changes in the NRP.  The updated course is now named IS-800a.

The old IS-800 course has been replaced by IS-800a; however, answer sheets for the original course will still be available and versions of the opscan form will still be graded.

Emergency management personnel who have already completed IS-800 training as part of the FY06 NIMS compliance activities will not be required to retake the training.   However, the NIC urges everyone, especially those who have completed IS-800, to review the changes to the NRP in the Notice of Change document and the NRP Quick Reference Guide posted on our website.
