Working with the media is important in educating the public about the programs, services and successes of the Office for Law Enforcement.

Each special agent and enforcement officer has received training on media relations and interview, and understands the purpose and importance of positive media relations.

Media relations requests should be routed through the OLE's National Media and Constituent Affairs Officer in Silver Spring, MD or through the local NOAA Fisheries Public Affairs Specialist.

NOAA Fisheries OLE special agents, enforcement officers and support personnel are available for media interviews.
