Subject:      Help needed in reviewing an NLM Geographic Information System (GI
              S) Web site

On Tuesday, April 5th, for one hour (from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Eastern time),
the National Library of Medicine (NLM) will be holding an online focus group
discussion about a Geographic Information System (GIS) Web site that uses
maps of the United States to help users visually explore data from the EPA's
Toxics Release Inventory (TRI).

We would like to learn your opinions, attitudes, and perceptions on the
content, functioning, and overall value of the Web site, which you will be
asked to review at your convenience in advance of the focus group.

Selected participants will be sent compensation within a few weeks of
completion of the session.

If you are interested in participating in this NLM evaluation (which you
will do from the convenience of your own computer), please send your name,
e-mail address, and a telephone number to Mary Beth Solomon, (

contact you by either e-mail or telephone with further details.

Please keep in mind that NOT ALL who respond will be selected to
