Subject:      National Library of Medicine invites you to an Online Focus Group


You are invited to participate in an upcoming evaluation we are
conducting for ToxSeek (http://toxseek.nlm.nih.gov).  This Web interface
performs a metasearch (also described as "federated search") and then
clusters results from many web sites and databases used for
environmental health and toxicology information. The National Library of
Medicine (NLM), National Institutes of Health, is holding this online
focus group discussion to learn more about public reaction to this new
search engine. 

You are receiving this notice because you are a subscriber to this
listserv. This online focus group will be held on Tuesday, April 18. The
discussion will last approximately 75-90 minutes (from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Eastern time, 3:00-4:30 p.m. Pacific). 

We would like to learn your opinions, attitudes, and perceptions on the
content, functioning, and overall value of the website, which you will
be asked to view in advance of the focus group at your convenience.

Selected participants will be sent compensation of $45 within a few
weeks of completion of the online focus group.

If you are interested in participating (which you will do from the
convenience of your own computer), please answer the questions below,
and provide your name, e-mail address, and a telephone contact number to
Mary Beth Solomon, ([log in to unmask]), who will contact you to
discuss possible participation.

Please note that your contact information will be used exclusively for
the purpose of this research and will not be used or made available to
outside parties for any other purpose.

Also, please note that NOT ALL who respond will be selected to
participate, since we are limited to a certain number of participants,
so please let us know at your earliest convenience so that you may be
one of the first ones selected for participation.
