INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- A FEMA mobile disaster Recovery Center (MDRC) is returning to Owen County for 4 days ONLY. The location is:

Spencer Elementary School

Opening day hours Saturday, July 19 - 9 a. m. - 2 p. m., CLOSED ON SUNDAY, Monday, July 21 through Wednesday July 23 - 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Homeowners, renters and business owners affected by the recent severe storms and flooding are encouraged to register for assistance by calling the telephone registration line, 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) which is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. M-F, Sat. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents are encouraged to register prior to visiting any DRC or MDRC. For speech- or hearing-impaired applicants, the TTY number is 1-800-462-7585. Applicants also may register on-line at www.fema.gov

MDRC staff can answer questions about registration for disaster assistance and hazard mitigation, help with disaster loan applications and provide information and contacts for other programs. ANY FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) location can assist you, whether or not you reside in that county.

SBA representatives will be available to provide Owen County homeowners, renters and business owners with personal assistance in completing their loan applications, answering questions about the SBA's loan program and explaining how an SBA loan can help pay for their disaster losses.

Returning the loan application is an essential part of the disaster recovery process even for individuals who do not want a loan.

All residents are also encouraged to get involved with the recovery by helping spread the word about available assistance. Tell your neighbor.
